Our Top 5 Coffees Explained

Have you ever entered the coffee isle and seen a large assortment of different roasts and regions? It may be overwhelming if you have not yet established what is your bean and roast choice. There is no one golden bean as there are different preferences amongst different people.

We have done an analysis of 5 of our best-selling coffee. If you are in the South Bay Area, then you may have seen our coffee at local grocery stores and bakeries: Rocca’s Market, Hilltop Market, The Olive Bar and Patti’s Perfect Panty. Please note: Because of high-demand and product shortages, not all these products will always be readily available in grocery stores but always available online.

5. Brazil (Medium Roast)

Caramel flavor with hints of brown sugar and a buttery sweet undertone.

Covering over 10,000 sq miles, coffee is one of Brazil’s greatest commodities. The Brazil Bourbon Santos is one of the highest-grade beans from the region. Its superior quality makes for an amazing coffee. Brazilian Bourbon Santos has a light to medium body, yields a low acidity, and has a very pleasant aroma. We exclusively sell this bean in medium roast.

Coffee Quality: We use 100% Specialty Coffee also known as Coffea Arabica.

4. Ethiopia (Medium/Dark Roast)

Rich body, slightly lighter acidity, with hints of Jasmine and Lavender.

The Ethiopia Harrar is known as one of the finest coffees in the world. Grown in southern Ethiopia at around 6,000 feet, the Harrar Mocha is a high quality coffee bean with hints of Jasmine and Lavender. Our Ethiopia Harrar Mocha has a rich body, slightly lighter acidity and is roasted at a medium to medium-dark . We exclusively sell this bean in medium-dark roast.

Coffee Quality:  We use 100% Specialty Coffee, Coffea Arabica, inspected to ensure highest quality.

3. Kona Blend (Medium Blend)

Vanilla like aroma with hints of almond, chocolate, and a floral finish.

Our Kona Coffee Blend is a medium roast with medium acidity and a decently strong body. The Kona Blend coffee gives off a pretty sweet vanilla like aroma with hints of almond, chocolate, and a floral finish.  We blend South American coffee beans that enhance the fantastic characteristics to compliment the natural goodness of our Kona Coffee.

Coffee Quality:  We use 100% Specialty Coffee also known as Coffea Arabica.  20% Pure Kona Coffee

2. French Roast (Dark Roast)

French Roast is one of our best-sellers. You buy our French Roast freshly brewed by the cup at Patti’s Perfect Pantry and at Hilltop Market. Our French Roast with Dark Italian is made from organic coffee beans sourced from Chiapas, Mexico and Peru. This blend is extra bold with no burnt aftertaste. We exclusively sell this bean in dark roast.

Coffee Quality: We use 100% Specialty Coffee also known as Coffea Arabica.

1.      San Francisco (Light + Dark Roast Blend)

Our San Francisco Roast is a roastery favorite across the board, online and in-store. Sourced from the coffee farms in Central and South America, this coffee is very sweet with a complex body. Half French Roast and Half Light Roast.

Coffee Quality: We use 100% Specialty Coffee also known as Coffea Arabica.

Here at Original Roasters, we have perfected our roasting technique, as we receive our Arabica beans from our various regions, we treat each bean with care. Our gourmet coffees are micro-roasted in small batches in our custom air-roasting roaster to ensure each bean is well-rounded, full of flavor, and never bitter.
